About – Mellott Tax & Advisory

I am Michael Mellott, CPA, CFP® and I help Christians minimize their taxes so that they have more resources to do good in their communities, support their families, and grow their businesses.

I specialize in tax planning and tax return preparation.

Unlike the vast majority of CPAs, I put the client’s interest above that of the IRS’s.

I’ve been working as a tax CPA since 2015. Before starting Mellott Tax & Advisory, I worked at a “Big 4” tax firm for four years and then two boutique tax firms. I have experience with entrepreneurs, business owners, high net worth individuals, regular employees, and Americans who live abroad. Also, I have extensive experience in both personal and business taxes.

Additionally, I am a recent convert to Orthodox Christianity and seek to run my business according to true Christian values. I live in Naples, Florida and I am the treasurer of St Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church.
